Hi Guest!
This is a notice regarding recent upgrades to the Hub. Over the last month, we have added several new features to improve your experience.
You can check out the details in our official announcement!
You are not entirely wrong, and VaM2 will be similar in some regards. I do very much rely on things like Unity's asset management, UI system, VR integration, and rendering system. But where Unity fails, I'm try to go further. Part of what made VaM different than others is I didn't rely...
That is interesting. I didn't realize that it was possible to get data from Physx on a thread. Yes - anything you can take out of FixedUpdate will directly improve performance! Awesome! If I could officially roll in 3 changes, it would be this, the zip read fix, and the memory/runtime...
There is a setting called Physics Update Cap. This setting specifies the maximum number of Physics Updates that can run per rendered frame. If your FPS is low enough that this cap gets hit, you could experience time slowing down, which will make everything look slo-mo. This is just an...
Where do you think the guide for Housefly and the special link we have for our community (which is in this guide) should go?
If you are complaining about paid content in general, you shouldn't take it out on this guide post with a negative review or reaction. That is the equivalent of asking us...
Please note Housefly is an official partner of ours. This is not SPAM! We will soon be adding a way to add additional download link to your Housefly posts in the resource creation panel.
Sorry I have to backtrack again. I decided users will need to have this set to allow plugins access to the browser system. It shouldn't be too big a deal for users to opt in for this.
Correction - it appears your plugin does not use the new restricted namespaces that this new preference sets. I see you are using built-in web panel so your plugin works fine as long as Enable Web Browsers and Allow All Sites (or your site is whitelisted) is set.
Just a heads up that upcoming 1.21.2 release is going to require users to opt-in to allow plugins to use network features. If this preference is not set, this plugin won't work as it is using namespaces that are restricted by the new option.
In response to this...

FYI - we are looking into this issue. You resource looks correct in the Hub in-game. It is just a website issue with reporting dependencies. You don't have to keep updating.
To fix the issue with you uploading other's var files that were already on the Hub I had to post a new update and remove the 1st two to get rid of the duplicate files. My new upload is missing some dependencies you did include that were not on the Hub...
Hi -
You have uploaded other creators var files with your resource. Please do not do that in the future as it replaces the download of these files that already exist on the Hub. I am going to remove the duplicates now.
Thank you
We have reviewed the code from the external exe and the plugin itself and it is not malicious in its current state. That said we always encourage users to be careful when using plugins and especially external exe or zip files that overwrite core VaM files. Those are not without risk. The creator...
