Japanese folklore has countless tales of the Yōkai. Mostly compared to demons, these otherwordly beings take many shapes: from animals to almost human.
While not all Yokai are evil, except for some types like the infamous Oni , most of them are at least mischievous, if not dangerous. Parents tell their children stories of the Yokai, to remind them of the many dangers life brings. However, there are tales of Yokai living among humans, even stories about Yokai and humans falling in love with one another - even if this love would be destined to fade one day.
The Yukashii-onna ("ゆかしい おんな"), meaning "charming" , "enticing" or "bewitching woman" are said to be seen only during spring, when the Sakura (cherry) trees are in full bloom. As quickly as these trees lose their beautiful blossoms, so are the Yukashii-onna quickly gone. Legends say they only appear to young, umarried people (mostly men), and guide them to find the love of their lifes. However, they might also show these people great pleasure themselves, should they so choose instead. A night with these beings is never forgotten, yet the desire and longing for these creatures can drive a human into depression... and even insanity. Like I said, Yokai always teach people the dangers of life.
This look is inspired by the above mentioned Yokai from Japanese Folklore and some of their adaptation in anime and games like Nioh.
I'm not good at making eastern / asian looking models, but most of my looks look the same anyway ? (just another reason why I keep them for free)
Enjoy!
