Plugins + Scripts VR Hands Fingering

This is the first plugin I wrote for myself, because I wanted a better fingering experience with the VR hands and I have Oculus. Be warned this plugin is pretty janky because I moved on to other things and haven't got back to improving it.

Description
Attempt to provide better fingering experience for those without Index controllers. Cycle through various hand poses with the select buttons (X and A for Oculus touch controllers). Reset to standard "Gumby" hands by clicking in the thumbstick.

Use
1. Install plugin

  • Download var and place in AddonPackages folder
2. Make sure your VR hands are setup
  • Open VaM menu
  • Click User Preferences tab
  • Click VR 2 tab
  • Find VR Hands section
  • Make sure Use Collision is checked
  • Make sure you have a hand option selected for Left Hand Choice and Right Hand Choice such as Male 1
  • Make sure Link, Left Enabled and Right Enabled are checked
3. Add the plugin as a session plugin
  • Open VaM menu
  • Click Session Plugins tab
  • Click Add Plugin button
  • Select vamtaco.VRHandsFingering.1 in the shortcuts menu
4. Finger
  • Click the controller Select button (X and A on Oculus) to cycle hand poses
  • Click the thumbstick to reset the pose for that hand
