• Hi Guest!

We have posted a new VaM2 dev log on Patreon, starting a monthly cadence of written progress updates between Beta releases. Highlights include the new Gizmos System, Selection Carousel, and Modes System with Context-Specific Editing. Beta1.2 is 15 of 21 items complete.

If your AddonPackages folder has grown past the point where you remember what's in it, this is for you. VaM Package Browser scans your .var library once, then lets you browse it like a local media gallery: thumbnails, search, filters by type/creator/category, and full dependency info for every package. Built to stay fast at scale, even libraries with thousands of .vars scroll like a native gallery, not a loading screen. Free and open source (Apache 2.0). Grab the portable zip. Unzip and run, no installer. (Windows may show a SmartScreen warning since the exe is unsigned; prefer building from source? See README on GitHub.)

The main view: your whole library as one scrollable wall of previews. Filter, search, and resize tiles. Responsive even at several thousand packages.

Every package gets a detail page with its full dependency tree.

Optional load/unload workflow: keep your full collection in a managed folder and feed VaM only the subset you're actually using, via instant hardlinks.
