This scene is based on my previously released music bar scene. At the moment its a scene where you can hang out with 2 girls at a bar and chill. There are 2 animated dance options included.
Some weeks ago there was a humorous talk on discord about a Mocappers Dance-Convention. So this is my contribution.
I really would like to see other creators take part on evolving this scene and maybe take part on a dance convention. I made alot of preparation to easily adapt and create upgrades (see more after instructions).
Instructions:
There is an option panel in the corner of the bar. It allows to open youtube or start 1 of the 2 dance animations with their own streamed music. You may also activate my strobo light installation if you dare.:
The golden "Options" Button opens a bundle of options which are partly for users. For example you may have the dancer a skirt, a more demanding haircut, light options or fog on/off. These things will eventually have effect on the performance dependent on your system. Thats why I made these as optiosns.
But additionally these are options for Mocap-Creators starting with a low demanding scene to record mocaps.
Mocap-Creators may also use the options for mirror, dance starting pose and so on.
Dance with more demanding options:
If you are creator and want to take part this could really become a greate community thing.
In this case here are some things to think about and how I could imagine to get you involved:
Mocap-Creators:
We could do a dance contest. The animation should aproximatlely start from the provided start pose. Export the animation in Timeline-Format, share it on the hub and let me know in the discussion section of this resource. I will try to implement it into the scene. But with regard to the music you would like to dance on, wether you have an audio file with a licence for use or you find a streamable url-link. MP3 doesn't work in VAM standard browser but e.g. *.ogg files do.
Of course you may also create animations for the second girl and/or from the chairs as starting point.
2D-Creators:
What about additional posters and stickers for the walls? Eventually a poster which announces or credits participating creators? Grafitty would be coopl as well. Just share your work on the hub and let me knowin the discussion section of this resource.
3D-CUA-Creators:
A fridge, glasses and beer bottles would be cool.
Animations:
More idle animations in quality and quantity? That also on my todo list. I plan to implement some interactivity with the girls in the idle states: drinking, discussing and so on.
Sound artists:
Would like to hear and or dance on your music creations. Also some dialogue audio files would be a great thing.
If you have additional ideas or questions about collaboration just let's discuss. Please also let me know if there are bugs.
