This is a tattoo resource that includes several ready tattoo sets which can be loaded using the skin preset tab, but also includes single images for use with the plugin Decal Maker by Chokaphi to mix, match and export decals on your characters. If you like tattoos, makeup or every other image overlay on your character, you need to get this, if you don't have it already.
This tattoo pack contains the usual Halloween subjects like pumpkins, bats, ghosts and so on. Here are some combinations you can do with this pack:
All single images that you can combine with Decal Maker:
How to use (more detailed information below):
1. Use the ready made tattoo sets:
- select your atom/character, click the "Skin Presets" tab
- click in the left column on "All Flattened" and you should get all presets
- or you can search for "Eboy" or "spooky" and choose Eboy.TattooResource_SpookyNights
2. Use single images within Decal Maker:
- download the plugin Decal Maker from the Hub
- select your atom/character, click the plugin tab, add plugin and select Decal Maker
- open the custom ui of Decal Maker inside the plugin tab
- use the plus sign to add images for the different regions like torso, limbs etc.
- select Eboy.TattooResource_SpookyNights on the left side and then you will see all included images
- mix and match every image for a complete tattoo set
- if you have a combination you like, you can save it as a preset or use the button "Export Textures" to get the usual decal images for torso, limbs etc. to use your tattoos without Decal Maker
See the Decal Maker page for more information how to use this plugin.
You can change colors and opacity to your taste with Decal Maker. You can also do this with the fixed sets (instead of loading a skin preset, insert them into Decal Maker into the appropiate slot). Fine tune the alpha setting, or you can also load in the same image in the second slot of each decal and then use the different blending modes to get even more color variations and neat effects (or even blend them with your own custom images of course). For example use the same image and then select the "darken" blend mode.
I would love to hear and need your feedback to improve this resource. Please let me know what you think of it, thanks in advance.
