RemoteDesktop for VaM
● This plugin provides remote screen sharing and control functionality for the VaM Screen.
● The purpose of this plugin is to enable remote support and screen sharing for VaM over the internet.
● Both the Session plugin and the Atom plugin are supported.
● VaM shares the screen and uses a custom-built WebSocket implementation to establish a web connection and receive screen data.
● Among Edge, Chrome, and Firefox, Firefox demonstrated the most efficient performance with minimal resource usage and latency.
● Unimplemented feature
- Sound redirection has not been implemented yet.
- A login dialog panel (ID/password) for enhanced security will be added in the next version.
● The WebClient supports basic mouse interactions.
- Drag action is not yet implemented.
- Wheel action is still incomplete.
- Keyboard input support is not yet available.
● Unknown Issue
- For some reason, the checkbox is currently unselectable. This issue will be addressed in a future update.
- VaM occasionally crashes without a clear reason during UI-focused operations in the web environment.
- When a large amount of data is transmitted, the client experiences noticeable delays. We plan to improve this in the next version.
- In high-resolution mode, VaM commonly experiences client-side frame rates dropping under 10 FPS.
Warning : Today is October 3rd and I’m one year more fabulous. Proceed with birthday wishes and cake deliveries!
