We have posted a new VaM2 dev log on Patreon, starting a monthly cadence of written progress updates between Beta releases. Highlights include the new Gizmos System, Selection Carousel, and Modes System with Context-Specific Editing. Beta1.2 is 15 of 21 items complete.

Island zipper. Allows zipping package and all or some if its dependencies. You can find it in each package's context menu.
Package issues resolver. Allows you to easily deal with duplicate or corrupted packages. It pops up as a notification/log entry action only when there are some issues.

Qvaro detects items that are in more than one VAR and lets you decide where it should be kept and where removed.
Package Files browser
Lists all files in a package with a logical search bar. You can also click on text & image files to preview them.
Other changes
Added ` shortcut to zoom currently browsed item.
Added ability to delete individual items inside packages when browsing items. You can do it via context menu, or Alt+Delete. Read help (F1) to find out what is going on when deleting items, and don't do this unless you know what you're doing!
And a bunch of small bug fixes and tweaks.
