- The Residue Item lists no longer include every clothing item installed in VaM. By default they show items you are wearing, items with "cum" in the name or path, and the items already chosen. To see every item, choose "All items (slow)" in the new Residue Item List menu (this setting is not saved; with a large clothing library VaM can freeze for several seconds or more when you switch).
- The lists are rebuilt only when something changes. A missing item is no longer searched for again every time a Residue setting changes (it is retried after a short wait).
- Measured in VaM with about 2,200 female clothing items: opening the CumFX UI took about 5 seconds in 1.0.0 and about 0.5 seconds in 1.0.1. The freeze CumFX adds when a scene loads dropped from about 2-2.5 seconds to about 0.2-0.3 seconds. The old lists grew with every clothing item you have; the new default lists do not.
- Shooting creates about a third less temporary memory in our test: CumFX asks VaM to rebuild its skin vertex lists less often and prepares its film buffers before the first shot.
- Scenes and presets saved with 1.0.0 keep their settings in 1.0.1.
