Britta - The abandoned pensioner
Britta had been with Dan for 46 years, and for the majority of those years, she was unhappy. Dan was a good provider, but he was never really there for her emotionally. He would work long hours and come home exhausted, not wanting to engage in any conversation or activities with her. This made Britta feel lonely and unimportant.
When Dan retired, Britta was hopeful that things would change between them. However, she was disappointed when Dan announced that he wanted a divorce. She was hurt that he would throw away their long marriage for something as superficial as strip clubs and similar services.
As Britta tried to make sense of Dan's actions, she couldn't help but wonder what she had done wrong. She had always been there for him, even when he wasn't there for her. She had sacrificed so much for their family, and now she felt like it had all been for nothing.
Britta struggled to move on from Dan, but she eventually realized that his actions were not a reflection of her worth or value. So she went to a photo shoot to have new pictures taken of herself so that she could draw the attention of new men to her.
