INSTRUCTIONS​

If you haven't used the vamX Chat AI before, start by opening the Separate Chat AI Plugin Demo scene. This scene includes getting started instructions, as well as the ability to quickly test the plugin.

To add Chat AI to any scene, open any (non-vamX) scene, then add the plugin to the person Atom that you want to chat with. If there is only one person in the Scene, you can add the plugin to any atom.

To Add the Plugin Manually To Any Scene, Use the Virt-a-Mate Menu:

1. Check the Edit Mode box, then press Cycle Select Person (icon of two people) until the person you want is selected (which shows their properties, including the Plugins tab).
2. Press the person's Plugins tab -> Add Plugin -> Select File (if there are multiple plugins press the bottom Select File button).
3. In Select File, find and press the vamX_AI_Chat_Only_1.44 by scrolling down in the left section of Select File. Once you choose vamX_AI_Chat_Only_1.44, then on the right you'll see vamX Chat AI Only.cslist. Press "vamX Chat AI Only.cstlist" to add the plugin. If you don't see the Web UI appear, get close to the person you selected, then turn around. The Web UI is invisible from behind.
4. You can now choose a personality set, change between US and EU servers, or reconnect to the server by pressing the top "Open Custom UI..." button after adding the plugin (in the Person Plugins press Open Custom UI... next to AI_CHAT_SERVER_AND_PERSONALITY_SET).
5. There is now improved compatibility with VaM Moan and Life (which take over the head audio) but if the AI Chat audio gets cut off, or only some sentences play, there is also a button to disable VaM Moan/Life in the Custom UI.

If this is your first time using vamX AI Chat, follow the steps below.

QUICK START FOR NEW AI CHAT USERS​

1. If you don't have Virt-a-Mate preferences configured to "Allow All Sites" follow the WEB SITE ACCESS REQUIRED section at https://sxvr.com/ai#allow (you may need to then restart Virt-a-Mate).
2. Enter your AI Chat password (you can write or speak the password). Find your password in the welcome notes at: www.patreon.com/vamx/membership
3. To speak hold the right mouse button down (Desktop Mode).
   In VR hold the VR controller's trigger button to talk.
4. To configure the AI, increase speed, change the personality, and much more, read the instructions at sxvr.com/ai
5. If you don't see the Web UI, get close to the person you added the plugin to, then turn around. The Web UI is invisible from behind.
