• Happy Holidays Guest!

We want to announce that we will be working at reduced staffing for the holidays. Specifically Monday the 23rd until Jan 2nd.

This will affect approval queue times and responses to support tickets. Please adjust your plans accordingly and enjoy yourselves this holiday season!

  • Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.
⚠ PLEASE:
  • If you like this asset, consider liking and reviewing it for the community
  • Read the documentation, read the ingame help if you have any trouble. We will not answer private messages asking questions about things that are actually explained in the documentation/help.

Introduction

This is part of a series I'm calling Sanctuaries. The first release features this environment, Sanctuary Two, and will feature more similar environments in the future.

This was made initially for @VamTimbo as he wanted custom environments for his mocaps. Timbo being very busy at the moment, we thought it would be nice to share it to the community in the meantime. The enviro is designed around a big empty space in the middle to allow dance scenes... but with a bit of imagination, I'm pretty sure you can come up with a cool living room.

Those environment are not meant to be thematic. The other two in the works (Sanctuary One and Three) are widly different from this one. They are somewhat built with Liminal Spaces in mind... somewhat realistic but feeling a bit like not really anchored into reality and with a minimalistic design approach.

As usual, the baked version and the dynamic version are available independently.

How to Use
  • Easy version:
    • Download and Install the var file
    • Download HZMDemos
    • Open either the baked or dynamic base scene in the folder Sanctuaries from HZMDemos
    • Edit the scene and save it to a new scene of yours in a custom folder.
  • From scratch version:
    • Add a Custom Unity Asset
    • Select the package inside the var file (either the dynamic or baked one)
    • For the baked version, simply select the scene
    • For the dynamic version, select enviro_sanctuarytwo prefab. Then add more CUA and select the props to create a scene to your liking.
    • Optional (but recommended):
      • Add a new CUA
      • Select the enviro_gi_room prefab
      • Add the plugin SkyMagicLoader from the var MacGruber Essentials 16
      • Open the plugin settings and enable "Global Sky Enabled"
      • Set the intensity to at maximum 0.70
