But you're free to adapt it to other scenes too, follow the instructions at the bottom.

Hyper-realistic sex dolls

We go through all the trouble of giving expressions and movements to person atoms in VaM, and then we forget that they can just be sex dolls, hyper-realistic sex dolls.

And every hyper-realitic sex doll needs deserves a proper box. Not a shitty discreet cardboard box so that the neighbors don't know what it is, fuck the neighbours (maybe later), a proper doll box that gets you horny just by seeing it.

Ryan's awakening

Ryan was doing pretty well for himself.
He's a smart and nice guy, a well paying job, but those long hours don't leave him much time to explore many of other aspects of life.
He was fine with that, he enjoyed his work and colleagues, and he wasn't that much of a going-out person anyway.

One night while reading weird stuff on Reddit, Mattel showed up in a story about silicone dolls. They had apparently partnered with a japanese company that specialized in high-grade silicone for medical applications.
So strange...
Do they want to make silicone Barbies instead of plastic ones? Maybe it's some kind of ridiculous greenwashing attempt to fool the parents. But won't those dolls be so terrible to play, all squishy and real skin like feel.

It was then that Ryan realized that yes, they were silicone dolls, but not the size of playing dolls, these were real life sized silicone dolls, for a different kind of playing.
Seemed like that Mattel was going to pursue a new line of products, one targeted at a age group previously ignored. Surely money spoke loud enough and shareholders wanted a big boost to the quarterly profits, and my god, those fuckers are going to swim in profits.

Ryan had grown up seeing his sister and friends play with Barbies when they were young. At the time, Ryan scoffed at dolls, much better to be outside running around or play video-games, dolls were for girls.
Now in adulthood, Ryan doesn't see things in this way anymore. Seeing pictures of the Mattel hyper-realistic doll brought Ryan's memories and adult hormones into a frenzy of mixed and unexpected emotions, with a boner that was harder than adamantium.

That same night, Ryan got a second job. Mattel's doll was expensive AF, but Ryan had to have one.

Something had awakened in Ryan, there was no turning back...

How to make your sex doll box

Inspired by the Barbie box shared by @Black Raven, I thought these boxes would be interesting to use in VaM in multiple ways. Could be to showcase looks, to makea scene where the person is a sex doll, any use may be bring new ideas to the VaM experience.

I wanted to make one from scratch and be able to create as many as I wanted. This meant using images in some form.
Initially they were part of a ISCube atom, but later discarded that option and ended using emissive images with transparency arranged neatly in a subscene. Sounds complicated? It isn't, I'll show you.

The box structure

A subscene atom with 6 ImagePanelEmissiveTransparency (or whatever is called) atoms. They are placed in a way to make a box when the picture you make are loaded.

Base subscene: no images loaded
Barbie box example

The Base image looks all crazy, but it doesn't matter, all you need is to load the images and it will look like a box. What if you have the wrong sizes you ask? No problem, besides the boxes above show I also include templates so that you get the right size always.

What are ImagePanelEmissiveTransparency atoms?
They are panel atoms to load a image that can show transparency (if present and a png) and is emissive (lighted).

Why a subscene?
So that you can save the subscene and load it anywhere you want.

Image specifications, and included doll boxes and templates

In a subscene are 6 image atoms to load an image:
  • front and back: 2000 x 3800 px
  • side and side2: 1000 x 3800 px
  • top and bottom: 2000 x 1000 px
These are arbitrary sizes chosen, but they fit well to make a box for a person.

I include in this guide not just the doll boxes shown above, but also template files you can use to make your own box. They are xcf files, which are project files for GIMP, and also png files if you want to use something else.

Image editing

There is no guide for this from me, you'll have to do that yourself. You don't need to know anything special, take it as a ooportunity to learn more on how to use a image editor, it's worthwhile.
It is helpful if you know or are willing to learn how to:
  • Basic tools like a paintbrush, eraser, etc.
  • Select areas, scale, resize, etc.
  • Use layers in a image
  • Play around with effects
And then it's just a matter of finding inspiration from creative works of others to use in your boxes.

Using the subscenes shared in the VAR
  1. Add a person atom
  2. Add a subscene atom
  3. Place the subscene bwtween the feet of the person and a little in front, enough past a imaginary line to the nose's tip
  4. Load a subscene from the VAR
  5. Person is now in a box
