Question Why does the character always shake slightly?

The built-in 3 point light scene person does not shake. If you're seeing a person shaking on a scene, it's either something set in the scene or morph collision issues with the person used.

Could be you put your character in a pose with too much tension. The control nodes you use to pose a character are attached to the body via "springs". If you put the character into an impossible position, causing too much tension on the springs, it may cause the shaking you describe.

Some tips for posing:
  1. It can help to set control nodes position/rotation to "off" (in the control tab) and back to "on" to see where the node actually wants to be.
  2. If you want precise positioning for some nodes, e.g. hands or feet, increase the hold position/rotation spring value (physics control tab) for those. Then it will follow the control more closely.
  3. If you want a body part to touch another, you want the hold spring value for the smaller body part (e.g. hand) at a smaller value than for the larger body part (e.g. hip). That's because you don't want the (smaller) hand to push the (larger) hip away, it should be the other way around (at least usually)
  4. If you want a particular control to be just guiding (e.g. chest) and don't care about exact position, reduce hold spring for those. That allows tension to reduce.
