Thanks everyone for your help, this was the problem, when I removed the accessories with that plugin and restarted it let me save the poseMay or may not be related to your case, but I found that using clothing managed by Stopper's Clothing Plugin Manager can break Timeline's pose save functionality. I'd double check to see if any of the clothes on your Atom uses it. Maybe that nose piercing uses it?
If it does it's no biggie, just remove the clothing, save the scene, and restart VaM. Next time you open the scene it should work as normal.
Why? What's your basis? Please do not “always allow” plugins. For Stopper's Clothing Plugin Manager, if you only "allow this time" it, there will be no problem. However, if you "always allow" it, there will definitely be trouble.

If there is a problem with the plugin mentioned when setting "always allow" compared to "allow during session", then the creator should be informed about it as it is specific to that plugin. Please do so if you haven't already so that the issue can be fixed. Thanks everyone for your help, this was the problem, when I removed the accessories with that plugin and restarted it let me save the pose

Naturally, don't do for weird random plugins from sketchy VARs, but also don't get those anyway. For any Hub hosted plugins you should be fine with "always allow", and if that's not the case for a specific plugin, please inform the creator about it.

So your advice is only for that specific plugin? That's fair, but how you wrote leans to the interpretation of being a general advice to all plugins.Because I have also encountered situations where the timeline cannot save poses. After I always allow it, I cannot save poses, but after I set the Stopper's Clothing Plugin Manager to 'allow this time', it becomes normal.
Yes, I'm only referring to the Clothing Plugin Manager. Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. So your advice is only for that specific plugin? That's fair, but how you wrote leans to the interpretation of being a general advice to all plugins.
Sorry for the late response, I just saw this now. Why? What's your basis?

Yes I had already went into the discussions tab of his plugin and mentioned the minor incompatibility with Timeline and another plugin. Though Stopper hasn't been too active on VaM as of late so if it does ever gets fixed it might not be a for a while.
As for setting the plugin to "allow this time", I just tried it and it somewhat helps but it's still a bit buggy with Timeline. From my little bit of testing you can save the pose, but even with "apply pose on transition" ticked the controllers still won't snap into position immediately if you overwrite a saved pose. If you're planning on using clothes with Stopper's plugin while actively creating a scene using Timeline, it's still just better to add those clothes afterwards to avoid any issues.
I believe you can go into the Package Manager, select Stopper.ClothingPluginManager, and tick off the "Enabled" checkmark. I've never had the need to do that for a var before though so I haven't tested it myself.how do you allow or disallow specific plugins? because once I load an atom with stopper clothing on, the timeline completely breaks even after removing the clothing manger plugin, I have to restart vam which is becoming very tedious
yeah this just completely disables the plugin, any clothing that uses this plugin is basically unusable, I also noticed this is something to do with the new vam update as well. I have been using version 1.22.0.2 and never had any problems using timeline with Stoppers clothing manager until I updated to the latest version yesterdayI believe you can go into the Package Manager, select Stopper.ClothingPluginManager, and tick off the "Enabled" checkmark. Are you just having issues with it saving/loading poses or is there something more? Even with clothes that use Stopper's plugin I can still play the Timeline just fine. Personally I've been experiencing this issue even before the recent VaM versions released. Though if you're curious to test it, it is possible to downpatch through the VAM Updater.
