This is a thank you gift for my patrons! I will release it for free too like all my stuff sometime in the future.

This plugin is a big immersion boost in VR for me. Works on Oculus devices. Does not work yet on steam vr from my tests.

SPQR updated SPQR Haptics with a new update entry:

v2

- added vibration on collision with all fingers, in v1 it was just the middle finger that triggered the vibration
- added something to prevent cascade of events happening at the same time for better performance
- removed a log message that was appearing in v1

still no vive, sorry. I figured out the code on how to do it but there's something weird about using valve's unity plugin in vam and might have to do more complex stuff to load it.

Of course. I actually figured out the collision logic from an awesome plugin that does exactly that.

I think the dude stopped making vam stuff, very unfortunately because he was doing amazing stuff, and never got posted here. I think there's a v3.6 somewhere on reddit too

I might revisit this and try to make it better someday, there's so much more stuff that could be done. it's not a priority for me right now however, maybe other people will do their own version of the plugin with more features until then. I only made this for my game, I had a touch UI kind of thing that felt weird in vr without feedback https://www.redgifs.com/watch/droopysuperbdorad. I'm sharing stuff like this just in case I abandon the game, at least some people might enjoy some pieces and make better stuff themselves

Nah. Go at the vam suggestions board and pull this shit there. Many people wanted or requested for stuff like this for ages, me included. Trying to 'motivate' me by downvoting my (free!) stuff and with promises that maybe you'll reward me $2 at the end is disappointing. I get it now why other developers, many far more technical than me, are not putting the time into making real advanced stuff. Modding for the vam community just ain't it..

The idea with patreon was about showing respect and support. I already shared everything I released (except for the Alive plugin) for free. That's a lot of work. I also have tons of other stuff unreleased. I could be using this

to flood this hub with models and get more patrons, instead i'm wasting my time towards stuff like

, and in the meantime also trying to help others make better stuff and have more fun in vam. Like this haptic plugin came from me working towards that RAE interface.

I could have kept it just for that, instead I went waaay out of my lane and wasted more time making the haptic plugin a general thing so that others can enjoy and build upon. I also wasted a lot of time trying to make it work on other devices which I don't even have. Imagine you making a vam model without having vam. And you downvote it and insult me.. thx bro

wasn't planning on revisiting it but I gave this another try just because you subscribed! I think v4 should work and be decent on steam vr, for oculus devices it's actually better now on steam vr. If it doesn't work for valve index let me know.

Thank you man! I will try it later and let you know if everything works fine for me. This haptic feature is so important for VAM,
it bring the VR experience to the next level. I really needed that and I knew you can do it.
 
I tested the plugin and it´s good after playing around with the parameters. Could you maybe add some more different vibration options to it?
This would be very nice :)
 
glad it works! I'll see what i can do to add more options, shouldn't be too hard, but it's gonna be maybe in some future weekend now.
There's way less interest in interactive vam stuff than i thought there would be so i'm moving away from vam a bit

lil drunk here, but could I like (I'm a woman) just put the controller on my crotch and it buzzes me every time muh dood penetrates? (I'm going to regret this tomorrow but have fun laughing at muh post!) =3
 
Except for a very few that do it for the buttons, everyone else here plays this to get off in some form or other. But I recommend against using the controllers like that, they weren't designed for internal use and you might get hurt. A better way to do it would be to use something like lovense, trigger it by sound and just add a sound to play when the penetration happens in vam. That would work much better based on my advanced chaturbate research.

Technically it is possible what you asked also, but would require some minor adjustments to the plugin. I don't intend to update this myself anytime soon or to make other free vam plugins for that matter. All I'd get in return would be more requests, some complaints and maybe enough donations to dream about buying a new usb stick (if i go early-access ransom mode with it). I tried but it wasn't meant to be for me

I would really appreciated if you could do it asap, it would make this great plugin complete.

i took a look at it bro. for me it's too much work for too little reward to add more features to this. not a lot of people interested in stuff like this and i kind of lost the passion for it for now at least, read my patreon post, going aeternum-only for a while
 
Question regarding this plugin: When I put it under default launch for Session Plugins, it only works every reboot if I click Reload on the plugin, is this a VAM issue thing?
 
Isn't there a built in unity to oculus touch set up. I mean there is another unity based sex sim that does this realllllly well. Once playing that game its really hard to want tto play vam but vam just has so much more idk why no one can figure out haptics here. Idk what this attempt was but it feels like you are touching something really unpleasant, the other settings are pretty good, but the choice of rumble was not the best option. I see this page is pretty much dead now since you have moved on to the other plugin. If you want someone to pick this up and maybe make some improvements I would be down to give her a go.
