ridgerock submitted a new resource:

Procedural Mascara - Fully procedural mascara and tears that run, dry and smear through contact in VaM.

View attachment 625216Procedural Mascara
A fully procedural breakthrough: mascara that forms, runs, dries and smears on the character's skin in real time.
Fully procedural by design
To my knowledge, this is VaM's first complete procedural mascara and tears system with physical contact smearing, with no direct equivalent.
I built Procedural Mascara to solve a problem that had been considered beyond VaM's limits: generating...

From Ridgerock "Ordinary static maps loaded through VaM are supported, but capturing DecalMaker’s combined output and exporting the generated effect aren’t available in 0.2.7. When you say “pull the still textures,” do you mean preserving your static DecalMaker layers underneath the effect, or exporting a still image of the generated mascara?"

Pull the Still Textures - I meant export the single frame png/jpg of the moment in time texture generated by your plugin so 'export a still image of the generated mascara'. It looks great, that would be a cool feature IMO.
Edit: It would be cool to be able to export the 'combined' textures from decal maker (it has an export feature), but I'm less worried about this at the moment.

Here's the error message with DecalMaker. I am sure it is decal maker because the error stopped when I disabled and removed DecalMaker.

!> ProceduralMascara: Face _GlossTex is already controlled by another plugin.

Thanks again for making cool stuff!

For a stable look inside VaM, turn Continuous mascara OFF and keep Mascara strength at a fixed value. Once the runoff reaches its target, the mascara pattern settles and holds. Disable tears and interactive mode too, and let the remaining wetness dry if you want the appearance to stop changing.

That gives you a stable result in the scene; exporting that moment as a PNG/JPG would still require a separate feature, which current version doesn’t have. But who knows...

The error confirms the texture ownership conflict with DecalMaker but for now I'm focusing on developing my procedural systems and optimizing their performance.

Thanks again for your feedback and suggestion!

Thx bro. This is very interesting and unique. It would be great to have a "Clear" button to reset and view the various parameters from the start. Is there a way to loop it? Right now, the ink animation plays once and stops; you have to change the parameters to start a new cycle.

Thx. Try to experiment with settings like... Continuous mascara:) and some other stuff like time and strenght. Just play with it a little.
