Organize Your Morphs

The following documentation is all available in-game. Click the “Help” button on either morph tab to view it.

Overview

Organize Your Morphs is a session plugin.

NOTE: The plugin adds more features to desktop than it does to VR. It's assumed most of your work customizing your morph collection will be done on desktop. There...

Es funktioniert bei mir Nicht, obwohl ich es als Session plugin geladen hab !!
Can you be more specific about what happens? You need to have both a male and female model present in the scene the first time you run it so a full morph scan can run.

Something i wanted to have for a long time, thank you so much!

I have some feedback: on an ultrawide resolution (5120 x 1440) the ui is scaled in a bad way (adjust ui size doesn't change it):

morph01.jpg

Also an error message is spammed in a loop ("Organize Your Morphs could not load the first-run Female Sorted preset: .mop file was not found.") I don't know yet what caused this problem, but as it is an endless loop, the error messages can't be avoided/cleared, guess a one time message would be enough.

One personal wish: the used colors (like that shrill pink) are a little bit distracting/hard on the eyes. Would be great if you could adhere to the normal VaM colors (a topic on its own, but you are at least used to it ;) i guess you just tried to extend the original palette) or just doing a subtle dark scheme without neon colors.

Können Sie genauer beschreiben, was passiert?

I think I've fixed your resolution issue, but have no way to test. Please check it out and let me know if the update solves your issue. Anyone else having similar issue, please let me know.

I've fixed the directory issue that led to the missing mop file.

I've added an option to disable the sex specific background colors. In Version 2 of the plugin, I'll add the option to customize those colors.

When we talked earlier about it, i already had tested the update (.3) So ratio is fixed, pink gone, boxes and morph names still too small. I am looking forward to further updates (no pressure of course). Thanks for your commitment :)

Oh, wow!

2560x1440 UI scaling it's perfect now
also for me, morphs names to small, i would say everything in that window, while categories windows its perfect
Edit: also no error on mop file
plugin on its way to become mandatory :giggle:

Should work for you now. And I added UI options for a single page or two side by side pages of morphs + side category list. Thanks for your feedback, and let me know if there are still any issues.

didn't find more option than in yesterday version, updated and restarted vam, still the little difference in font size between default UI and the morph text
i also need a new pair of glasses tbh
but it works very smooth and useful 👌
video scaled to 1080 original 2560x1440

I don't think you loaded the new version. If you had it in your default session plugins, you have to update that. The UI slider should now go up to 11.

Also, the vibrating UI problem should be solved.

But note that if you choose a ui setting too big to fit on your screen, it will be scaled down until it does fit. So you may want to avoid those settings.

I'm undecided if i should keep it that way, or simply disable ui options that wont fit on your screen, given your ui size setting. What do you think?

First of all, thank you very much for your efforts. It is not only great that you did the work in general, but also trying to help for edge cases is much appreciated. <3

I can now use two of the settings of "adjust ui size", number 2 and 5. 2 is great size, but only 1x2 groups, 5 is 2x2 groups, a little bit smaller, but usable. Options 6-11 still have the too small boxes - i guess because the max height is reached. So i would wish for at least one option where you would have 4 groups as columns/width, but only 2 groups in rows/height, so the single morphs would be scaled bigger because there would be more height. Ultrawide resolution has so much width, but the height is relatively normal (5120 x 1440).

So i would remove the third row in option 11, that should help in lots of bigger boxes on that resolution:

Other things fixed for me:
- The flickering is gone :)
- The scaling now changes when you change the original internal VaM "UI Scale", but 1.42 is max at my resolution because else you couldn't use the main menu anymore which gets cut at the top.

One other irrelevant thing i found: the help section is missing the color legend png (just fyi).

And again, no pressure of course, but perhaps you are interested in some feebdack for long term dev?

If you have at some point further motivation and/or time, it would be really great to have the ability to undock the window. I would want to have the morphs directly next to the character, at the moment the list is between them and you need the morph elements much more than the category change after organizing them to your workflow i think.

Also it would be great to be able to change the size of the morph elements itself.

And then an integration with qdari.UITweaks would be a dream or mimicking the following features: right click on a morph resets it to default, middle click switch between the last two values.

Thanks again for your time and skill! This addon is so mandatory for every morph work.

Always interested in feedback and suggestions!

I should be able to implement most of that. I was thinking of doing away with the ui size slider and just having a tab on top to pull up and down to add rows, and a tab on the side to pull left or right to add columns.

Gonna think about it for a while and let the best idea float to the top of my brain.

This promises to be one of the most significant QOL upgrades for VAM1. In my case, I am running VAM v1.22.0.3 at 1080P, and ver4 of your plugin.

The first thing I attempted after the initial setup and caching, is to collapse one of the categories (I think Emotions or Expressions I forget exactly). However, the plugin UI started pulsing from collapsed to flat. I could not test any further because the dropdown list was dynamically bouncing between states. I think this endless loop started consuming CPU cycles because VAM became laggy to the point of being unusable. Just a little bit more clarification, it seems to pulse in waves. i.e., it would quickly flicker between collapsed and un-collapsed several times and then rest for a few seconds. And then iy would start up again.

I just want to bring this to your attention in case no one else has seen this exact condition.

I mostly run VAM in VR. As a point of feedback, I think that having all features avail in VR would be good. I prefer modding characters in VR because one can more easily see the results of tweaking morphs in virtual space.

I really look forward to thoroughly running it through its paces.

That's not a bug I've seen or heard reported. I'll ask codex to look for anything that might be causing it. If you find a way to repeatably trigger it, let me know. In any case, thanks for the report.
I will be implementing all the features in VR. That's what i mainly use, too. And I have more features I want to add. I'd just been working on this damned thing for over a month and needed to take a break, so I published what I had.

EDIT: I think your bug has been located and fixed. We'll have to wait and see if it recurrs. A new version with a few bug fixes will be posted tomorrow.

Why did I use it in the session plug-in, but it was still blank and I couldn't use it?
Are you perhaps clicking "Open Custom UI" from the session morph page and wondering why it's empty? That UI is empty be design; that's not where the ui is. select a person and go to the male or female morphs tab and the ui interface will be built.

It doesn't show anything. Why is that?

When you first entered the morph tab, did you get the "scanning morphs" popup with progress bars? Or just nothing?
It's possible there's a conflict with another plugin. Try loading it with no other plugins or external add-ons (through bepinex or something) loaded and see if that works. If it does, add your plugins back one at a time until you find the one that breaks OrganizeYourMorphs, then let me know what it is.

If it doesn't work, even with no plugins or addons, PM me and we'll try to figure it out.

There was no loading. I tried to uninstall all the plug-ins and then reinstall the plug-in, but it still didn't work.
