I noticed that some morphs are usable by all models where some are not. I have a model that has a chest morph that I wanted to use. However it can only be used on the model that came with. Is there a way to open morphs so they can be used by all models?

You're probably looking for the Morph Merge and Split plugin.

Morphs usually live either in:

VaM Installation Folder/Custom/Atom/Person/Morphs

or inside the .var file that the specific model came with (usually under the same folder structure).

If the morphs are inside the .var, they sometimes won't be available globally for other models. In that case, you can either use Morph Merge and Split to save/export the morphs into your Custom folder, or manually open the .var (it's just a zip file), find the morph files, and drag/drop them into:

VaM Installation Folder/Custom/Atom/Person/Morphs/female and /female_genitalia respectively.

After that, they should show up for other female models as well.

ok for the life of me I cannot get both body morphs male and female of this model. it is only showing the female one, but to make it work on a default character you need both male and female body.

Thelian is an Altfuta, hence female. If you save and load an appearance preset, it will load up as a female character till you load the Altfuta plugin.

yeah I am aware however theres two different morphs for body. there is one female and one male. the male morph makes the chest more masculine.

I tried with the plugin and didn't seem to have any issue with the chest, works as expected...

Try opening the var file with your archive utility software, navigate to /Custom/Atom/Person/Morphs inside of the var and drop them into your
VaM Installation Folder/Custom/Atom/Person/Morphs in their respective folders. You can play around and move the male morphs into the female folder etc... see if it works.

If there are morphs inside a var you want to be able to see in your morph list you need to open the package manager in VaM, select the var in question then select the morph preload option.

This will make all the morphs in the var visible in your morph list.
