I have several versions of VaM: the version I work with, which is not heavily loaded with the var-archives library, and a 175 GB version, which takes a long time to load on its own. Everything works perfectly on the first one. I decided to run my scene on the second one. There, even animations switch twice as long. There are also bugs with a black screen. Therefore, I conclude that there is a problem with the engine itself. It is more difficult for it to work with a huge library and instantly load new materials from it.

I created this effect on purpose, because in real life, when you bring an object close to your eyes, you also cannot focus on it and it becomes blurry. However, if you want to disable the blur, go to the Scene Plugins tab in Edit Mode and uncheck plugin#0_MacGruber.PostMagic.DepthOfField.

I don't quite understand the problem. Most likely, you select the next animation, the light goes out when the buttons disappear and does not come back on when they reappear. I described the problem above. Most likely, your VaM is oversaturated with add-ons, or you need to lower the graphics settings. You can install GiveMeFPS as a session plugin. There you can set the optimal settings for hair and other effects, and the scene will run faster.
