Glad you like it! It is actually just the first prototype I was testing to see if it is even possible to achieve real time tracking with camera. I didn't expect it to blow up that much though haha But I can gladly say that I will be continuing the development of this plugin.
I also have leap motion, but it was just so annoying to use and to set it up somehow, so I thought if no one else makes a plugin that is usable for hand tracking, then I will do it myself.
Currently it is not an alternative to leap motion, since I am tracking only 1 degree of freedom (which is up and down motion), but if I were to start fully working on this plugin, then there is nothing that would not be possible!
I think if you have a quest 3 headset, you can have hand tracking, but at that point everything becomes so bloated and clunky, that you don't want to use it anymore.
Though I do think that the most exciting part about this app would be, if in the future other adult games could be also controllable with it.
that's right Dude! I 100% know your pain with all that. It took countless amount of time, for me, to properly set up everything, i mean Leap Motion(with old driver, which is quite crappy, coz with old driver Orion 4.0 hands are tracked really far from good, no proper tracking at all, I would say) +Oculus Rift(I have Oculus Rift DK2, it's kinda not the most newest nowadays,

LOL, but still perfectly does the Job, no need to mess around with the WiFi routers, no need to fiddle around with Virtual Desctops setup and other shit, just simply plug it in and you are good to go!). Pain in the ass, for me was not to setup Oculus Rift, but, instead, to deal with all challanges configuring(Leap callibration and stuff) Leap Motion to be finally working. And lastly, when it eventually all became working, the joy and excitement didn't last for that long, because soon enough VAM got Updated, so my hands sadly gone

, needless to say that before even starting VAM, I have to check-up if all cables are connected, if SteamVR server process is actually running, if Steam VR detects and sees that Leap is properly connected, all all all of that, as a pre-check before actually starting VAM, takes a Huge!!!!!!!!! shit-load of timing and pre-preparations, needless to say all that also would be consuming greatly fps(for example frozen/hanging Leap server processes, like Leap server not responding on time and leading to crashes all all all of that) --->all leading me mostly forced to use only one hand for most of the scenes(especially for some heavy scenes, and sometimes not for heavy ones, as well).
Last week-end I opened a very nice boob-job Scene in VAM, that is simply meant to be experienced with hands, but was sitting and nearly crying, not just because due to sensation that after all that loooong loong loong conducted hard preparational work, when results do not pay off, when it eventually became impossible to use Leap-Hands in Scenes, but also due to astonishment as to ----> why?? for a goodness sake, it all does have to be so complicated and so difficult to have it all running, when it simply has not to be?? Right?.... I'm a C# developer myself, but I do mostly web-sites and win-forms mostly, still my knowledge of Unity scripting is yet not all enough to pull it off, with scripting and plugin-related stuff. Was so much envigorated by your upload, yesterday...it gives hope and sense of living!
Keep up a great work, and please don't give up on that idea man!
