I have a object in my scene that I can not delete or hide. The atom looks like a semi-transparent cylinder with a ball in the center of it. It is not located in the list of atoms. I assumed it had something to do with a lighting set up that I modified to use from another scene. How do I remove it?

It might be:
  • ...a hidden atom. There is a toggle in the Selection UI....or just press H on your keyboard to toggle hidden atoms. Hidden atoms are frequently used by experienced creators. If used right, they prevent accidental modifications and make it easier to grasp how a scene is setup. For example by keeping only the important atoms containing scene logic plugins. In complex scenes you often have 10-20 atoms on top of each other, it is vital to keep an overview and hiding the unimportant things.
  • ...a CustomUnityAsset somewhere else in your scene. With those you can import Prefabs or entire scenes from Unity Editor. Depending on how it was setup, the Atom handle does not necessarily need to be close to your object.

I had all atoms to include CUA unhidden in the selection UI. Fortunately, the unwanted atom is almost out of view. I may attempt to hide it with another atom (furniture) if I can not remove it without redoing the scene.
