Euna submitted a new resource:

Person Preset Picker - Exposes Appearance, Clothing and Pose preset dialogs to VaM UI triggers

Have you ever wished you could open preset dialogs (Appearance, Clothing, Pose) directly from a UIButton in VaM? Well, wish no more!

This simple plugin exposes those three actions so you can plug them to UI triggers of your choice (such as a UIButton).

As a bonus, actions "Lock Active Clothing" and "Unlock All Clothing" are also exposed.

Have fun with a more streamlined experience!

joining today and already sharing a really nice QOL plugin. Awesome 🌟

Feature request if you're taking them:
  • Checkbox in plugin to ignore scale of appearance preset and keep existing person's scale
Thanks

It seems to be missing the sub folders when the "Select File" menu opens though. Flatten seems to be the only way to access apps/clothes/poses in sub folders. Hopefully an easy fix.

Good catch. Can confirm it's not showing subfolders in the Appearance folder.

@atani @CheersMate Many thanks for the kind reviews! This is the first piece of software I release and I'm happy to see it's useful.

I will look into your feedback and prepare an update. No guarantees on date but it's on my list.

The subfolders were indeed a trivial fix.

I tinkered a bit with ignoring the scale of appearance presets, but many presets also use morphs to change the character's size. I have yet to figure out a non-janky way of doing this...

I don't know how things are done with the coding, but the scale intended is the one in "General Physics 1" and it should not be related to morphs in any way. If it helps to check examples, AppearanceLoader (ky1001), UIAssist (JayJayWon) or VAMStory appearance script (hazmhox) have that option, so maybe you can get an idea from those.

Thank you again.

Hello
It seems that the Preset file in the subfolder cannot be loaded due to an error.
