Scene Miscellaneous
”World Scale” This is very useful while playing in VR scaling you much larger or smaller than the assets in your scene. It defaults at 1 scale which is 1 to 1 with the VaM atoms.
You can shrink to .01 or grow to 10X using the slider. The effect is not as noticeable while working on desktop and appears to be the same function as “Player Height Adj”.
It is not and it is recommended to keep it default to avoid confusion when publishing for a VR player. This is the same option as available in the Base UI “Click for more Options panel”
“Gravity (m/s^2)” Gravity Meters per Second Squared. Default for Earth gravity in VaM is Y -9.81. Using these options you can change the gravity to be anything you like from any direction.
”Global Position Grid” This is where you can set the Global Position Snap settings that are available in the Atom’s Move menu.
”Global Rotation Grid” This is where you can set the Global Rotation Snap settings that are available in the Atom’s Move menu.
The following settings are used if you wish to have a consistent position to load into your currently open scene. By default the load position is your location inside your scene at the time of your last save. By using the following settings you can override this and have a consistent load location.
”Use Scene Load Position” Toggling this on will default you to the orientation and position of your Scene Load Position when you save and again when you reload the scene.
”Set Scene Load Position To Current Position” Hitting this button will set your current position and rotation in the world as your new scene load location.
”Move To Scene Load Position” Hitting this button will snap you to your current load scene position within the world.
You can shrink to .01 or grow to 10X using the slider. The effect is not as noticeable while working on desktop and appears to be the same function as “Player Height Adj”.
