The Save and Load Windows.
These windows are laid out very similarly and share the same file navigation and sorting options.
“Select Scene to Load” or “Select Scene for Edit
“Shortcuts'' Displays the default save location and all available addonpackages that contain scene files.
This column gives clickable options for viewing available files or selecting specific AddonPackages.
“Only Show Latest” Filters out older versions of available Addon Package files.
“Saves\scene” Displays files and folders located in your VaM Saves\scene folder.
“All Flattened” Displays all available .json scene files from your VaM Saves\scene folder and all installed AddonPackages.
“AddonPackages Flattened” Displays all available json scene files available from installed AddonPackages.
“AddonPackages Filtered” Displays all available json scene files available inside installed AddonPackages as a folder tree.
All installed AddonPackages will be listed in this column, Clicking on them allows you to explore folders and files specific to that installed AddonPackage.
“Current Directory” Displays your current folder location.
“New Folder” Creates a new folder inside your current browsing location.
“Directory Option” Subfolder viewing options click on the “Show First” box to view more options.
“Show First” Displays subfolders before scene files.
“Show Last” Displays subfolders after scene files.
“Intermix” Displays subfolders intermixed with scene files depending on “Sort by” setting.
“Hide” Hides subfolders inside the opened directory.
“Sort By” File sorting options. Click in the field to view more options.
“A to Z” Lists files and folders alphabetically in order.
“Z to A” Lists files and folders in reverse alphabetical order.
“New To Old” Displays most recent files first.
“Old To New” Displays most recent files last.
“New To Old Package” Displays most recent packaged files first.
“Old To New Package” Displays most recent packaged files last
“Select Save File”
When the Save File dialog is opened a random number is automatically generated as your scene name to avoid accidental overwrites.
You will have to manually enter a scene name of your choosing and will be prompted with a warning when overwriting an existing file.
Please be aware that you can not overwrite files that are embedded inside Addon Files.
If you want to have a warning when loading a scene while in an existing scene, you can do this from the User Preferences/Misc Tab in the Main UI.
“Confirm Load” Toggling this on will give you a pop up warning when loading a new scene.
