Hi Everyone,
As we announced back in December '24, we updated our policies regarding Free content on the Hub and stated specifically that we no longer allow off-site hosted content in the Free categories. At that time, we gave creators a notice that eventually their off-site resources might be removed.
We've allowed several months of extra time, in part due to the focus on the Hub website overhaul and the release of the VaM 2 Beta. We are now reaching out to creators who still have off-site hosted content and letting them know they have a brief grace period to move their resource files to the Hub.
During this time, you may see a significant increase in the number of resource updates in the Free category. Please do not hold any creator responsible for the flood of new posts, as this was a direct request from our moderation team.
We appreciate your patience during this time, as this transition should benefit all in the community as we increase the amount of hosted content. Some of you may also see your own content being updated with the "Hub-Hosted" label, as some of these resources are very popular dependencies used by many creators.
