My Quest 3 is coming in tomorrow and looking for recommendations on which scenes are the best with VR.

Thank you in advance for any recommendations.

Doesn't really matter if you see a scene in desktop or VR, they all work.

Some scenes have a much greater impact and worth in VR than others imho. Not to mention the base category of the scene, for example a pov music synced lap dance (my favourites) is so much better in VR than just an interactive scene with lots of sliders. Your mileage may vary.

It is a matter of taste, but here are my top scenes for vr:

- Dance No.4 by Xacreux: lap dance experience with great animation and facial expression

- almost everything from Trashinator: lots of great lap dances and pov experiences

- Palm Sunday by vamurai, short scene but with great lighting and music synced action; his other scenes are also recommended (panic room or last goodbye for example)

- lap dances from AlpacaLabs; i especially love the Eclipse one (that is a paid one though)

In contrast i would recommend all scenes by Vamsoy, although here you won't have a greater value using VR. Vamsoy is also a good example that sometimes scenes don't work vr as good, mainly because of user interface problems.

Immersion with VR is greater than in desktop for sure, but that is not in a general sense a property of a VAM scene and all work in VR.

Possession is a functionality that benefits the most in VR, well, I love it at least and always use it even on scenes not made to consider it. The most common problem is as you stated, UI not in view if possessing on scenes not made accounting for this POV. While you're more likely to use possession when using VR, it's not a VR only feature, so the same problem happens on desktop.

Tips for VR and possession:
  • Use the UIAssist plugin from JayJayWon - essential;
  • Add a button to add Embody to person and a button to toggle Embody active.
With the Quest 3 you are possibly also going to experiment with Passthrough. Needs some fiddling, but follow the wiki guides for VR/AR and you'll get to enjoy a really interesting experience.
