Vholf3X updated VR Scroll with a new update entry:

Performance Improvements

  • Reduced FPS drops in heavy scenes when Thumbstick Requires Hold is enabled.
  • Avoided target/window scans until the selected hold button is pressed.
  • Skipped plugin runtime work when both thumbstick and motion scrolling are off.
  • Added buffered profiling with manual dump, so profiling does not write logs every frame.
  • Reworked the plugin UI so thumbstick, motion, and diagnostics are easier to scan.

Dude, thank you for this sooo necessary plugin. Scrolling VaM in VR is a real pain in the butt. But as others have mentioned above, this plugin degrades performance and adds stutter, like every 1 or 2 second.
Same here. Game stutter every 2 second.

I've posted a new version, it is awaiting approval, it should take care or stutter and improve performance.
just checked it. runs much better. no noticeable degradation now, though VaM itself has a lot of stutters, so can't tell for sure) but definitely works better with v6

thank you for reporting your findings

For those having fps drops or stuttering still, I recommend make sure you are on the latest version and turn on the "Thumbstick Requires Hold" option, it should give you a couple of frames back

I'll keep working on ways to improve it further but there will always be some cost as we have to scan the scene for windows being pointed at
