VAM suddenly not showing VAMx / assets / plugins / morphs / scenes

My VAM suddenly had all these problems at once last week
I tried deleting cache, verifying files, Vam is up to date.

Problems
Plugins not working and not showing up in menu, but they are in addonpackages
VAMx not showing anywhere
Scan hub for missing packages showing nothing
Custom morphs not showing up but still in addonpackages
lots of scenes not showing up that used to be there in browser
new scenes not having assets, environments, hair

please help

What is your VaM folder location?

It’s installed on its own SSD, not with my C://

This usually is some permissions problem when people place VaM in a protected folder like Program Files, etc. Doesn't seem to be the case for you.
See if the error log says anything that could lead to the problem:

Maybe it's something that you got in the past days that is somehow screwing up everything? You could try taking those new ones out and see if VaM works now.

I know that sometimes when Vam encounters a corrupt var file, it doesn't read any more var files after that. That may be happening here.

Sounds promising, i did add .var’s in a batch before it happened. I’ll try removing by date and reply if anything changes, thanks both

clean install fixed, havent found the trouble file yet
