Hi there, there seems to be a missing dependency

THANK YOU for providing us with this breathtaking project. I cannot believe the amount of work that you put into this.

I just want report that I have been successful running Produce_69.29 through .31 on my version of VAM which is 1.22.0.12. Unless you tell me that I am missing some major functionality, I'll stick with this VAM version since everything else is pretty much stable.

I have an issue for which I need your help. It seems that once a song has started, I cannot exit out of the song (or make changes such as disabling NPCs etc.). I thought that I read that your in-game panel could be activated by pressing the side grip buttons. But for some reason, I cannot make the control panel appear via the side grip buttons (nothing happens). Perhaps there is some key binding that I need to look into?

I hope to be able to exit out of a scene instead of sitting through the whole thing. There are times when I accidently click on something and am forced to watch a whole dance. Or that I open a new scene to check out, only to find that I want to change backgrounds.

Anyway, I am not complaining. There is just so much to enjoy that my Quality of Life issues are minor.
Thanks for the feedback!

You actually brought up a really good QoL issue. For a long time, I’ve been trying to figure out better design choices for improving the UX in VR mode, and the situation you described is a perfect example of one of those challenges.

The main physical limitation is simply the number of buttons available on VR controllers. In desktop mode, functionality like this is easy to implement through hotkeys such as F2 or F4, but in VR there are far fewer inputs to work with.

I haven’t really found a suitable button mapping, or a solution that feels truly elegant, yet.

As a heavy VR user yourself, do you have any ideas or suggestions?

Actually, more specifically, I assume this issue only becomes significant when you're using CamRide mode in VR.

When you're not using CamRide, bringing up the UI is a fairly normal interaction and usually isn't much of a problem.

In CamRide mode, however, you're essentially flying around the scene like you're on a roller coaster. Even if you manage to bring up the UI, it's often difficult to actually click anything while the camera (***you***) is moving around like that.

Thank you so much for creating this project; it is truly breathtaking and dreamlike. I am particularly fond of your "hanfu" | "国风" collection. Since I am new to VaM, I am not familiar with how things were in the past. I was wondering if the songs listed in the collection are real, and if they are all available for use. I would really love to experience more songs, and I look forward to your reply。

Hi, thank you.

In RC4a, you can preview unreleased tracks by enabling Options ▸ General ▸ "Preview Unreleased Tracks".

Once enabled, those tracks that appear grayed out as Coming Soon in the regular lists will become available in the RAW tab for preview. Feel free to add them to your Favorites list for quick access using the Favorites feature.

As for the Hanfu DLC, those tracks will be gradually remastered throughout the next few RC updates.

There was a blind spot in version .32: path resolution issues could still occur when loading the scene from a local save rather than directly from the VAR.

Version .33 completely closes that loophole.

If you're still using .32 and you have a habit of saving the scene locally and loading it from those saves, I strongly recommend updating to .33.

I found that during dance, the character's face undergoes slight deformation, especially the nose, which noticeably enlarges and shrinks left and right. What is the reason for this?

You have the Morph.Morphs_Mega_Pack VAR installed, and possibly other morph files scattered throughout your local folders that are overriding VAM’s native morph files.

They effectively hijack and replace native morph definitions, almost like a virus spreading through the installation. That’s why you’re seeing this behavior.

Is there any way for me to quickly find these morph files?

加载完成以后刚到准备界面就弹窗或者未响应,有没有什么解决办法呢,之前的版本都出现这种情况, 应该不会是显存不够导致的吧,4070ti

I'd like to know how character outfits appear in the dressing room, and why my dressing room is empty.

Issue with Vaginal Toys

the Vaginal Toys Still not working. since the 2.0 RC1 Generation II update.

No matter how I click or interact with them, they simply do not appear. I am certain that I have all the required dependencies and elements installed.

The audio track never changes to English even when I select it.

How do I get the full content? Do you have a patreon?

Hi. I don't really have anything valuable to add. I do play VaM on VR almost exclusively. But I avoid camride at all costs since those scenes generally cause nausea in VR and I prefer to be in control of the view. Many times, I just prefer to pretend that I am sitting in the audience and not move from my seat at all. As a matter of fact, any VAR labelled with "camride" are automatically banished from my working dir.

You are absolutely right that we have very few hardware control options in the controller. From my subjective viewpoint, appending functionality to VaM's main menu is the way to go. That is, adding new buttons on the side or replacing rarely used buttons. (Ref: JayJayWon's BrowserAssist or DragonTales' Quick Action). This is because a press on the controller either brings up the menu or dismisses it. Easy to remember and no fumbling with "chording". The menu is fixed in your field of view where it spawned, so you can be on a rollercoaster and it wouldn't matter. While in theory, JayJayWon's UI Assist's attachment of the activation button to your wrist (which calls up a customizable menu) seems elegant, in reality, I only have one hand controlling the game. The other hand is ... ummmm... preoccupied.

Having said all that, those comments are most appropriate for session plugins and not for a single experience like what you're building. Although given the broad scope of what you've built (ad I continue to marvel at the sheer size), it may make sense to beg the indulgence of a user to add a UI element to the menu.

Again, THANKS for an awe-inspiring scene. Don't know how you do it - on a 16GB machine to top it all.

BTW, I would like to know if there is a way to interrupt/quit a dance routine without breaking the logic chain. IRL I have very short attention span and I need the ability to bail.

Hi , I am facing stutter every 10-15 seconds especially in Produce 69 both Desktop and VR mode !

I am new to this world , just built a PC with 9800X3D , 5090D v2 , 64GB DDR 6000 CL28 , 990Pro 4TB SSD/850X 8TB SSD , and I am facing this 10-15 seconds stutter. I am also playing with PSVR 2 and have the same problem !

I tried some plug-ins like Give Me FPS , CPU Performance Patch , Anti-Stutter Mod , OpenVR-fps Mod , Lossless Scaling etc. and no luck at all. I am messing around with the in-game performance settings , even if I turn everything down to minimum , the stutter is still there , but it is so annoying when I play with Produce 69. During the stutter , if I engage the in game performance chart , there will be a big Red Square 🟥 , very consistent 10-15 seconds , even when the dance is finished and the scene is stationary ! This scene is super interesting and I am very like to play it , but this stutter just so annoying, when u noticed it once , u will notice it forever😖

Other scenes that are more stationary are okay, which I can’t notice the stutter at all !

I also tried playing with Nvidia Control Panel , Nvidia App , Windows settings , Steam VR settings, all the stuff which the internet and AI Gemini suggested , all no luck ! I even tried to install a super clean version with only Produce 69 inside , no luck at all ! So frustrating !

For reference , I play other Steam games/VR games which is buttery smooth without any problems , but I only tried Black Myth WuKong and mostly Half Life Alyx !
