I am about to deep dive into this, has anyone else tried it? Any success?

Edit: Holy shit it works!

nice, i wish you shared a little bit more about how you got it to work. im trying to get it to launch on winlator, but it just keeps crashing. even the unity error handler window hangs and never fully goes through lol

E: did some experiments myself. i changed startup selection to normal and set the system to windows 10, and it kinda works. sometimes there's the unity crash on startup, other times it launches, but it becomes very prone to hanging/crashing the entire container. when i dropped some 80 vars into the addons folder, it got much worse.
dunno if its running out of ram or sth, my phone has 12 GB and android reports 4 GB free. maybe it works on flagships with buttloads of ram only. but for me, its far from playable sadly.

Sure man, you're the first to ask.

I first setup a minimal clean install and default vam scene on my desktop. Just one pixel light with optimized scene lighting. Turned down all the physics and graphics in the preferences. Turned off hub/browser/plugins stuff etc. It's literally just a bald naked person atom and a single pixel light. Saved it as the default scene by overwriting default.json.

You can turn on a lot more stuff once it's running, but it seems to struggle to boot up the game more than it does running the game after it started.

Then I zipped the entire VAM folder and transferred it to my phone and unzipped it to a folder on the phone.

I was using the Gamesir Gamehub app that has a proprietary build of winlator built in. It has some drivers that support my S25 Ultra built in and also sets up the emulator automatically. So unfortunately I'm not knowledgeable enough about winlator to even know what I did right to be honest. Game Hub did all the work.

There are guides on Youtube how to get it setup. It's basically just install gamehub, find the PC thing, download a demo from the list of games there to make it get the files, then you can just add a new game and select the vam.exe. Then it just works. You need a very recent flagship phone if you want a chance of running it.

https://gamehub.xiaoji.com/ Some people have said it's sketchy but I honestly don't get it. Maybe Xi Jinping will send agents to sneak into your house and whisper communist subliminal messages in your ear while you sleep if you use it or something. I don't know. Use at your own risk. (I don't think there's really any risk.)
