Hello. I found this program a number of weeks ago and was delighted by the quality, and the active community. I have been trying to load several scenes that I've wanted to try for a while now, but it's seemingly impossible to get through the loading phase without the program crashing in VR mode.
When I load these scenes on desktop, everything works perfectly fine. After reading through various forums I was directed towards this "benchmark" program, but once again it crashes before it even fully loads. I am able to get very bare-bones scenes to load in VR, but seemingly nothing I want to actually try out.

I find this odd considering I have a fairly decent PC, and I haven't run into VR performance problems before. I've also already tried many of the performance guides found on here, and none of them have fixed this issue.
My specs:
AMD Ryzen 5600x 6 cores
16gb ram
Nvidia RTX 3060 TI

I'd generally be okay with lower quality or anything really. I'd like to actually load into a scene successfully and try this out.

Crashing, as in VAM is shutdown and goes to Windows, usually happens because you reached all the RAM you have. 16 GB is short on VR and prone to crashing, if you can have more, 32 GB is very stable.

Wow, I didn't realize you needed so much! I'll go ahead and upgrade then, hopefully that does the trick.

8K textures, tons of other stuff being loaded, it fills up quickly. A cheap upgrade that will make it a lot more stable.

https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/gcmemory.57340/ can also help, you still have to manually track down problems, from my experience custom local morph was the worst, 8k textures can also be bad, too many plugins loading at the same time.
Like Atani said a cheat upgrade will make it more stable, but cleaning your vam folder from things you are not using also help a lot.
