VaM 1.x Trackers prevent Embody to work

Hi,

I encountered a new issue with Embody: for some scenes, if I enable Trackers, then when I tick off Active in Embody, then nothing happens. Like the checkbox is ticked off but nothing happened. I can uncheck and check off again and nothing happens so long as Trackers is enabled, both in VR and PC. The only way to make it work is to create a new character with Embody, import Timeline, and position the character at the same location as the existing character, then Embody with Trackers would work. And this issue would happen for the whole VaM session: if I opened a saved scene where Embody+Trackers has never been an issue, then it would not work unless I relaunch VaM.

Has anyone ever encountered this issue?

If it's a problem with Embody, one that I haven't experienced and I use Embody a lot, then you should test it on a empty scene with a person, Embody, and what you describe for testing.
Testing on a random scene is not a proper platform to test Embody as countless things related to the scene could be the reason.

This issue has happened with only three scenes (made by creators) so far, including two old scenes (one being yours: Dorm Party) that I recall used to work perfectly fine. Embody in empty scenes has no issues. I'm investigating, I feel like it's something on my side.

I am confused on this. What do you mean nothing happens? Or better, what do you expect to happen?

When you tick Active, you snap into the character's head, right? Well in this edge case, if Trackers is on, nothing happens. I'm still in free cam even though the Active checkbox is ticked. I can keep ticking it on and off and nothing happens.

Goes back to the head when I set Active the first, second, third time with the Embody panel like yours* when using my NEXT template scene. Works as expected.
Perhaps you set the trackers to mind not the head position bu something else? A option in the trackers configuration.

* "select eye target" wasn't set but probably makes no difference here
