Hey!
Has anyone tried to use ai tools to take 2d porn videos and make them into mocap data that could be used in VAM?

Ive been looking into tools like Rokoko and plask, and they seem to be able to take one camera angle 2d videos and turn them into 3d motion capture rigs. How i would turn that futher into a scene in VAM i have no idea since im VERY new to VAM. But there are tons of ai tools out there now that could do various video things like remove background of characters or turn VR porn videos into 2d videos etc. and also capture mocap data from those videos.

Alot has happened in the ai world lately. Turning my VR porn videos into VAM scenes would be amazing!

edit: would something like this work maybe?

I think one problem you'll have with this approach is that cinematographers, even in adult films, use that cinema verite technique of moving the camera around *constantly* during a scene. If the camera angle keeps changing, will the AI go nuts?

In VR porn the camera usually stays very still. But if there are some movement im sure you could use some sort of camera stabilizer software to mitigate that

But the question was about taking 2D porn and running that through some AI to transfer it to VR. If the frame of reference in the 2D video is constantly changing, the AI may not be able to cope and transform that into realistic VR motion. We don't want our VR actors getting broken bones, right?

So I've tested this rokoko site. Even if the camera is perfectly still, the AI doesn't pick up on subtle hip, chest or hand and finger movements. For dances, it doesn't work at all. The upper body is very stiff in the generated animation.

Ah my bad, i actually meant "3D VR porn" video material and turn that into 3D bone data that could be used inside something like blender, and then further on to Virtamate. I was thinking of VR video porn as 2d since its in essence just two "flat 2d" videos side by side.

Ah damn, thats a bit dissapointing to hear. Well lets hope they improve over time then.
