Not sure if anyone here has been following the product launch of Sony Mocopi in Japan last fall but I just read it will finally be available in the USA. You can pre-order it now for $450:

For those who do not know, Mocopi are six small devices that attach to your body for recording what appears to be fairly accurate full body motion capture. The reason it may be of interest to the VaM community is that recordings can be saved as BVH files, although I'm not 100% sure those will still work with VaM. I'll be looking into this and how it can be used with Daz Gen 2 characters which then in theory should work with VaM.
Or better yet, it would be wonderful if one of the high tech VaM users here can create a plugin that will accept the Mocopi stream and apply it to a VaM person in real time, then save in Timeline or something. Sony has a developer site here that might help with that project:
