So I'd really like to slap my girls around a bit, I'm using already Embody and SlapStuff for the sound. The problem is that controlling the hand by mouse while in play mode is WILDLY inaccurate. Now I know, I know... This is the kinda stuff VR is made for, I'll be getting a headset ASAP but for now its desktop only.

I thought perhaps there are some plugins that allow me to link the hand to the desired place to be slapped, so that no matter how much I flail the mouse around I'll always hit that point. Or maybe there's a way of "locking" the elbow joint to give better control during the slaps? If they exist, perhaps they could be activaded by keybind for a rudimentary "slap mode" that's not tied to animations.

I get that desktop mode is not really made for this so I'm not sure if I'm wasting my time with this, thanks!

For non VR scenes you'll need that to be animated via timeline or however the animations without the plugin works along with triggers. What we'll need is a character controller type of plugin, one that links the hand to the mouse movement so you can move the hand as if it's in a VR space. It's best to just go with a headset if you want a better experience. There's a thread about best VR headsets that work with VAM etc. so you should look into that also.
