Arachnut submitted a new resource:

Silent Night - Seated sex from a silent partner, VR & camride, stroker toy focused

🎅🤫 Silent Night

Sexy, festive girl in a seated sex scene

A hush settles over the room as she approaches, glinting with red satin and lace. Meet Cami– a busty gift wrapped in holiday silk, eyes bright with intent. She offers no words, only the gift of silence, and sex. Her presence is warm against the cold night, deliberate, inviting. No questions. No distractions. Just the quiet thrill of what she’s come to give. Welcome to Silent Night…

This scene is completely free...

The positive: What a great scene, I really dig the idea and setup. It's very immersive and pulls you in.
Tried it with a Lovense Solace Pro and it mostly works great. Some Animations with strange hip twisting cause some interesting movement artifacts.

The improvement worthy:
The whole scene is a total performance hog. The FPS dip due to the amount of eye candy is very harsh, especially in VR.
Fiddled a bit around and got some decent FPS out of it by deactivating some of your light sources as well as the reflective floor. The cloths simulation of her dress also eats op tons of computing power.
(I run a 7950X3D, 4090 and 64GB Ram, so no lack of power on the side of my PC)
And the real bad: Bad FPS totally kill the immersion and synchronization if the toy movement and rip you out of it sadly.

Thanks for the scene, I am looking forward to more great stuff.

I'm so glad you liked it (generally), and VERY happy that you chose to leave a review about the good & the things that need work. 🙏🙏

Ah! I will investigate 🕵️‍♂️ That checks out, but I'd be eager to hear what happens-- I assume it just 'jumps' a lot as if it starts and stops. I will admit, as I'm looking into Devil's Seat and such, there's some changes I've made in workflow and concept to animations moving forward. These two scenes started from a place of experimentation, and can't easily be changed in a way that would mitigate these bumps. But future scenes have benefitted from these things!

Interesting! I know this one has a lot to eat up-- the floor can go, and I always use a lot of lights. I have a 4070ti and 32 gigs and it runs well enough for me to... *ehem* have fun with it and stay immersed. I'm curious, is it a blanket FPS hog or only when in POV mode/very close to her? That does seem to be a VaM thing I'm always working against-- when the ladies lean in, the FPS drops a bit.

BOO! 😭😭 Yeah, my whole point is to make fairly realistic (best I can!) scenes that keep you in; in VR and with a toy. So this is hard to hear, and I totally get why it's upsetting. I do wish I could find even more time to dedicate to making these SUPER polished. Always open to ideas, and hopefully you found a few things to remove in order to have fun with her, mate!

Cheers! Looking forward to making more! I've got SO MANY in the works, but I'm always refining them and starting others as well. The next one should be out this month, along with the accompayning Magazine/photoshoots for Cami (if you're a Patreon sub).

Cheers, mate!

Yeah, the main problem is the prediction algorithm of the toyserialcontroler (I use the version with +vamlaunch due to the buttplug.io interface throuth intiface). Loots of tweaks to be made to let it behave predictable AND it is highly dependent on FPS. Bad FPS = bad physics = bad prediction due to low frametimes and physics refresh.
What I can recommend is isolating the movement in an animation pattern and use that as movement control like https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/km457-cowgirl-ride-sex-toys-support.52990/ it's still not perfect but works wonders for immersion and stability.

I will look into it some more, if it depends on her leaning in and the sorts. The main problem in my opinion is, for an immersive VR experience you need at least 60 FPS, better 90 or more. And it should have a higher priority than lighting, hair or environment. As soon as the scene lags/fps-drops, your immersion gets lost. (But this is just a personal pet peeve of mine in VR in general. Immersion is king and should be prioritized over fidelity)
And I am fully aware, that VAM and the physics engine has terrible performance in VR. (And I am still learning a lot what I can do to mitigate that, haven't tried VAM2 yet)

Yeah, that approach definitely makes sense! From a technical standpoint. Isolating the movement into its own animation controller would probably smooth things out quite a bit for launchers.

That said, at the moment it’s just not something I can justify the extra dev time for. 🥲 It would mean reworking scenes pretty heavily, and add a lot to upcoming/future ones, and right now I need to prioritize new content and workflow improvements and (selfishly, realistically) what I want to create. If there’s ever more demand for toy-specific optimization, I’d revisit it-- but for now it’s a bit outside the scope of what I can realistically maintain. I started a Patreon to hopefully get a few people to toss me a few bucks for coffee as I work on these (I have about... 4 more that just need tweaks and QC) as well as some larger, state-machine driven expereiences... but it just takes so much time adn energy. I can't shift more of my life to it unless it was supported. Goddamn capitalism.

Cheers, mate! I'm doing the best I can!
