I think you have the best understanding of Physics on VaM.
Can you give me some hints on what tricks you used to control chains, lanterns and doors?
The first thing I'm tripping over is the hinge pivot issue.
Isn't the hinge provided by unity ignored?

No its not ignored, anything you can do in unity 2018 you can do in VAM. What are you trying to do, i used a hinge joint on those objects

It seems that I haven't tried enough.
What I want to make in the end is to give flexibility to the finger bones and try to align the fingers naturally with colliders.

A door that opens and closes with a spring on a hinge worked great.
I'm not sure why it's been failing so far.
I still have a long way to go, but I will keep studying
