I think you need to restart VAM after adding a new VAR. I believe VAM reads and catalogues VARs when it first boots up.

Scan hub for missing packages i had a convo with someone and that was the problem

The confusion is probably because it's an appearance preset, not a scene.
I've made this mistake myself - creators should always make it clear in their resource posts what kind of resource they've got in their VAR, otherwise folks don't know where to load it.

Finding missing packages is always good to do to get the dependencies, especially since this resource isn't hub-hosted.
