[RELEASE] UltraSSS: The Ultimate Skin Rendering Solution for VaM - The Ultimate Skin Rendering Solution for VaM

UltraSSS Plugin Feature Introduction

Plugin Overview

UltraSSS is an advanced skin rendering plugin developed for Virt-A-Mate (VaM). By utilizing Subsurface Scattering (SSS) and Translucency technologies, it brings hyper-realistic, delicate skin visuals to your characters.

The plugin is available in two versions: UltraSSS Lite (Free) and UltraSSS Full (Subscription)...

SSS needs to be used carefully. It's not a do-all, be-all solution. When a plugin was first released for Daz Studio to have SSS, the results were mixed. If the effect is too strong, what happens is that the thinner parts of the body like cheeks, lips, nose, ears and fingers all looked like they glowed red from the inside. In the Daz forums, this was described as "lava mouth." The effect needs to be carefully adjusted for the specific lighting in the scene.

how is it better then SSS by hunting sucubus(other thant it seem its free to use :D )? does it not have problem with scalp ?

Is it possible to use it with CUAs (as HunutingSuscubus plugin can) ?:)

As always its cool that someone care about this 8year joy system :D

Not to defend the unnamed freeloaders, but it seems pretty extreme to pay a monthly subscription to maintain access to a single VAM plugin with some extra features.
Voxta makes perfect sense as there are server costs involved, but this individual plugin doesn't seem to offer much to warrant perpetual paid access.

Don't mistake my post as purely negative, I do wish you luck attaining subscribers and growing.
But I think the vast majority of people are immediately turned off when they see any form of DRM tied to a monthly subscription.

I paid for monthly access to Hook5 back in the glory days of modsgarden & TK17, there was really no competition and pervokpetr put an ungodly amount of work into Hook.
He had a brutally hardcore stance on pirating his stuff, he used client side hardware IDs to allow access.

No problem having paid access + DRM if there is value for it, but I don't see it.
Just my two cents.

Seconded. Also, if you update the plugin along the way, people will still have to be subbed or re-sub to get the new version. I also don't like whole Discord ID integration just to use the plugin... if it was one time payment without those real time confirmation methods, I'd surely buy it to try it out and if it's good then possibly pay if there's newer version month later or so. Maybe it's just me, but I'd like avoid for VAM plugin to access the Internet when it's not necessary.

Also, what about people who don't use Discord anymore? People are migrating from it due to real ID concerns among others. Discord integration is a nice bonus if a Patreon creator has it, but IMO making it mandatory to even get the plugin is not that great. To be fair, plenty of creators do post download links only on Discord (they redirect to Patreon messages from Discord), but for those that don't have it, I'm sure they could just post download link privately. If confirmation is automated via Discord ID, then it could turn out that yes, you can download the plugin itself but then suddenly you can't use it because you don't have Discord account.
