Thank you very much for making this video! After attempting to follow it I am still having a few issues. Let me describe my steps:
1. Started VaM, loaded a Look.
2. Added Screen Tools as a Session Plugin (Pose Factory is in my Add-On folder)
3. Clicked on "Pose" in the Screen Tools bar. Pose Factory UI pops up.
4. The first thing that is different than your video is when you hover over the girl there is a red circle that turns to yellow when you click on her body part. I do not have that. When I move my mouse over my look and click on a body part, nothing happens. For me to move a body part I need to click on "U" to bring up the VaM menu, then I can click on a body part and control it. So I did that by moving the models right hand up in the start of a wave position. Following your video I clicked the "Sym" button to duplicate the left hand.
5. Following your video at the :29 mark I clicked on the Preset Rig 9 button and moved the right arm in a new position then clicked the Sym button to duplicate the left hand. (Side question: why Preset 9? Is there another video or explanation somewhere that goes into more detail on the presets?)
6. Following your video at :41 I tilted the models head to the right then clicked the Swap All button, then I clicked the first Save button below.
7. Next I clicked the Swap All button again and then clicked the second Save button below.
8. This is where my first problem came up. At 1:00 in your video you click on the first Save button and the model moves her head/body and when you click the second Save button she moves again. For me when I click on the Save buttons nothing happens, the model stays still.
9. I decided to press forward and continued with your video. I moved my models arm in a new position and clicked the second Save button again. I then clicked on the first Save button and the model moved back to the starting position, then when clicking the second Save button it moved to the new position. Eureka! I made my first animation. I'll keep experimenting to make sure I finally have this figured out.
If you have any ideas about the few discrepancies I have from what you did in the video please let me know. Thanks again!
