Panam Palmer (Cyberpunk 2077) - Take a break from your gigs and hang out with Panam.

This is a port of the Panam Palmer model by Major Guardian and Th3Celtic. The model and their twitter handles can be found at: https://smutba.se/project/38e0fd7b-37f3-4c37-8650-1326cf0d6602/

After so many hours of figuring out how to import blender models into VAM I finally managed to complete this Panam Palmer look. It was such a pain having to learn Blender, DAZ3D, Faceform Wrap, and going through many guides but I feel that it is worth it. I think the morph and textures...

For your first look, this is awesome. Thank you for another Panam to add to my collection, she was always my favorite.

The leotard has some issues around the shoulders.

Changing the angle on spot lights makes shadows look like shit, me personally I use spot lights very sparingly if at all.

You may want to make some effort to clean up the skin diffuse textures.
They're passable, but up close you can see the low pixel density in some areas.

Overall good work man, keep it up.

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

I imported the leotard pretty much unchanged from the original model but it has that issue because I assume the creator didn't intend to have her just wear it without the jacket. I'll try and figure out how to fix it in Blender.

What kind of lights do you tend to use for sunlight? I'm still not great with lighting yet.

I'll look into the diffuse textures and see what I can do. The only textures I edited from the original were the decals because the head was too dark.

I assumed the clothing wasn't built for individual usage, but something to consider if you want to refine it further.

General unspoken rule for VAM, more than three lights is bad.
I forgor where, but there's some discussion that it's a Unity issue, at least for the version VAM1 is using.

If you want sunlight, one directional light works great. Shadows will look much better than using a spot light.
Look into Stopper's Light Options plugin for some fine tuning.

Me personally, I tend to use two point lights for front and rear lighting in the majority of my scenes.
One directional if it's a map that justifies sunlight with strong shadows.

And man skin textures, best of luck. That's a rabbit hole on it's own.

I wonder if the textures you have could be ran through some upscalers via Stable Diffusion to clean up the blotchy pixels.
I might give that a go myself, although 4k images might cook my GPU. 😅
