Need help moving atom in some scenes.

Hey, I could use some help with unlocking the root control of an atom in some scenes. I was able to do it before, but I've forgotten how and lost the guide. I already know about deleting the "control" node in timeline. But I'm looking for the solution to unlocking it in timeline scenes that don't have that control in the timeline at all.
