Just throwing this out there, i'd love to be able to use VAM as some sort of personal assistant given it can run in desktop mode.

Would be really awesome if someone smarter than myself could write a plugin that subscribes to an mqtt feed and invokes some animations / speech based on the json in the message.

I know there's a few mqtt plugins for unity, so cant see it being too hard?
 
Have you asked yourself the question, ' If conversational AI, like for example IBM Watson, can trigger a model's behaviours and animations in Unity, why isn't there a proliferation of such conversational AI in games?" There's all the SDKs and there's even a Watson-Unity lipsync SDK on Github written by a doctor from MIT, so why does hardly anyone use cloud-based CAI services in games?
