MMD Master - Drop in an MMD dance folder and watch your characters perform, fitted to their bodies and to your ro

MMD Master brings MMD dances into Virt-a-Mate. Point it at a folder of MMD motions and music, press play, and your characters dance in time with the music, facial expressions and finger movements included.

Getting started
  1. Add the plugin to a character (or to Scene Plugins).
  2. Click "Load MMD Folder" and choose a folder with your MMD dance and music files. Each character gets a dance automatically.
  3. Press ▶.

I tried using the plugin, but my characters’ legs don’t move — only the upper body does. I tested different .vmd files. What am I doing wrong?

Not a situation I had ran into before. I can look into it if you can help provide more details:
1) Are the legs completely still/no movements?
2) Were there any error logged in VaM's error log? If yes, can you provide it? (Entries with "[MMD Master]" prefix.)
3) [Optional] If possible, please provide Message Log. (Entries with "[MMD Master]" prefix.)
4) Where are you attaching the MMD Master plugin to? e.g. Empty atom, Person atom, Scene Plugins.
5) Do you have other plugins or scene setup that also affects character movements?
6) Do you know for sure that the .vmd files you had tried contains full motions? e.g. Had tried it in MikuMikuDance or another VaM plugin.
7) [Optional] If possible, can you attach your scene file here so I can try it? (may need to rename the .json file extension to .txt)

One more thought. Maybe the legs were stuck by collision with the floor. Try turning the floor or the character (Person)'s collision off and see if the legs move then.

When a motion is loaded, MMD Master moves the character to the "floor"; it treats the character's root as the floor level. Often this means moving the character lower if it's a smaller/shorter character. Smaller/short characterr, due to shorter legs, floats above its root point, and MMD Master moves it back down to the root height when motion is loaded - this may be the moment that the characters moves down and gets stuck with the floor. If this is the case, make sure to position your character's root at the floor level (not under) before you load the motion.
