When using quest 3 with virtual desktop, neither gaze plugin or eye control aettings help me to get the character look at me, while moving around with the headset. The character looks only on the pc desktop angle wh8ch is different than the quest pov.
Any help with that?

The trick I found (my issue was with Glance) is to add GlanceTarget as a scene plugin. Hopefully this trick can help you too.

Hi there mate, I tried it as you said and it did nothing for me.
Did you also places another plugin on the character? Or a different option maybe?

Again, my issue was with Glance, and specifically when I use Embody on one character and want another character (with Glance) to look at me properly.

Tell me more about your setup. I assume there's only one character with Gaze, you're in free cam, and you want said character to look at you properly?

Exactly mate. There is only one character, and I eant the character to look at my free cam (from my pov on quest) while I move around, and yet the character only looking at the desktop pc screen. Also, in many cases her eyes are fixed on an object that is located within the space and i cant get rid of it.
Thanks!

You're confusing glance and look at behaviors. Glance is meant just to move her eyes when you're in her cone of view. You need a look at plugin for this.
You have multiple on the hub, one is included in VAMStory in the Tools folder called "VAMS_Gaze" which is a fork/update of several look at plugins made and improved by the community over time.

I will check them. Do they give the solution I was looking for to make character look at me while in free vr mode? Like it is doing for desktop free look?

I don't know all of them. An update for VAMStory's one is coming soon with multiple new options.
But Look At plugins look at anything you want. If they look "at the player" it should work in both situations (VR and desktop)

Hi mate, im using quest 3 with virtual desktop to run vam.
My pov from my quest is different from my desktop screen. First, there is a slight initial difference between them, like half a meter to the right. And second, when i move around the room lets say - with my headset, I see myself moving in my quest pov, but my desktop screen isnt moving.
So basically, all gaze plugins only look at my desktop screen and no option changes it.

Have you got any idea of what im doing wrong?

Might be that you have your desktop monitor toggled on while in VR. If your desktop monitor is on, things like Glance will use your Desktop position instead of your VR one. Try to toggle your monitor off (F1 menu, first option on the left) and see if it starts tracking your VR position instead.

You can always toggle it back on later if you need to make some adjustments in desktop.
