How to make a truly seamless skin material?
And why do we need to choose skin type?
And why can't I add a texture to the female dummy?

There are some seam guides, but they are for the base Genesis2 M/F. The different UV maps correspond to different models published by Daz for the G2 generation. G2F has Base, Victoria, Monique, etc. They are different. If you stick to the base model, you should be ok.

The female dummy is literally a dummy with no textures. Use the Custom Female option if you make all your own textures.
