• Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released another critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.12 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.

How can I create 3D (SBS) screenshots or video?

Hi

My 1st Post

:)
I take paralell two such cameras from EOSIN and leave them about 6.5 cm apart. One camera takes *.jpg and the other *.png. The far camera follows the 1st one as master. Then simply assemble as FSBS or FHOU and you're good to go. This also works with films, all depending on the graphics card performance and storage medium. In this way, different focal lengths of the two cameras are possible, unlike with only one camera where this is more like a strong wide angle.
- Camera 1, flat, FHD or larger, JPG
- Camera 2, flat, FHD or larger, PNG

The two images can then be found in the same or in two different folders and with the same timestamp. Focus tracking would also be possible, but I'm not there yet = the closer the more "squinting".

A great plugin then! I'm absolutely happy and still trying it out.

Have fun with it.

Hey Joha, thanks for the reply. Any chance you'd be willing to share a scene that has this dual cam setup? :)

Maybe this was helpfull

Just use "Video Renderer for 3D VR180, VR360", you dont need anything else, and you dont need to setup 2 cameras,
it will capture 3d VR180 frames, use "Render mode: VR180 stereo", you will only need to combine it afterwards, you can use avidemux for that

Not sure if this is the right tool, I want to record my scene in SBS so that someone else can watch it as a 3D 180 video.

Hey

In my opinion, my method for my 3D experience with 3D glasses and a corresponding monitor works wonderfully.
The whole thing is not in real time and requires the images to be combined into separate videos for the left and right eye. This also allows you to adjust the eye distance / angle for macro or wide-angle. A movie in fSBS / hSBS / HOU format, or whatever, can then be put together using the appropriate tools or scripts. It takes some work, but it works flawlessly. A VR 180 / 360 stereo movie may be good for the VR goggles, but if none are available, then use the method mentioned. The distortion of the wide-angle shot in VR180 Stereo is too great for viewing on a 3D monitor.

Use the Plugin of Eosin that generate tons of SBS picture.
Then download Avidemux and drag the fisrt image in the APP.
The sofware analyze all the folder and create a video from the pictures.
Add the audio file. When you click on add audio, the folder where the pictures are will be opened anc choose the fiel audio.
After taìhat you can export the video in every kind of format you want.
