• Happy Holidays Guest!

We want to announce that we will be working at reduced staffing for the holidays. Specifically Monday the 23rd until Jan 2nd.

This will affect approval queue times and responses to support tickets. Please adjust your plans accordingly and enjoy yourselves this holiday season!

  • Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.

I went to your patreon, can you tell us more about this " (Tutorials and digital content will be available once the devellopment process allows it.) "

I'm inclined to support you but need to understand how close you are to a prototype and that it isn't just vapor ware :) - is this is still years out? Months? days?

Look forward to hearing more

Hi,

I am just in the beginning. But to do this I need a supporting community.

Because prototypes and development cost money.

The more people support this, the faster the product will be finished.

The goal for the next few weeks is to build a supportive community.

The first prototype of a product will be shown in the next days.

But until we have something people can build at home it will certainly take a few months.

Best

Michael

Thanks Michael, me personally, I'm looking for simply a better description of what you are trying to accomplish. How much of this is software and how much is hardware? How accessible is the DIY portion and what kind of background is needed?

Food for thought, maybe share a detailed description of what you are trying to accomplish, but not share any blueprints or secret sauce. That would entice me to become a patreon, and hopefully others too. Not that $10 is so much money, but I like to have a good understanding of WHAT i am spending my money on ;)

thanks for taking the time

I understand. I will try to explain in a little bit more detail.

What I want to achieve:

The illusion of a person's appearance inside a room.

How I will achieve this:

Currently I am working on different approaches including:

1.) Projection on transparent medium
2.) Led fans (holographic fans) which use illusion of persistence of vision
3.) transparent LCD Screens
4.) eye tracking to adjust perspective

The DIY part will be possible for everybody with special skills needed.

I hope now you have a better idea :)
