How did you manage to get the horns to fade in during the transformation? I've been trying to replicate it with what I'm assuming is Surface Offset manipulation but not sure what Plugins are used to have it gradually transition between Surface Offset values?

No plugins.
Basic transition trigger on basic animation pattern adjusting the offset value.
